Arise Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation catering to domestic and family violence and financial abuse survivors at the Recovery and Healing stage. At Arise our services include empowerment through Arise Academy, and a Recovery Hub with wrap-around support services through our Service Partners, which include financial counselling, mental health counselling, immigration legal assistance and family law assistance.
Our organisation’s mission is to empower and create a secure and sustainable future for Australian women who have survived financial abuse through education, employment, and wrap-around support services in the recovery stage.
We believe that only by empowering women to stand on their own two feet can we truly enable them to realise their full potential. Arise Academy offers a variety of programs to assist Arise Women in developing their financial literacy, self-confidence, and the foundational skills required to find and maintain employment after escaping from vulnerable situations. We also have an English Program, Digital Literacy Program and Driving School.
Once the candidate has completed the employment ready program, we provide tailored employment coaching and paid job placements.
