Snr Specialist Family Violence Practitioner – Resp. & AH (SR0194) | Frankston
The Senior Specialist Family Violence Practitioner – Rapid Response and After Hours is a vital member of the Family Violence team, providing high-quality specialist support to adult and child victim survivors experiencing family violence across the Bayside Peninsula region.
Working across both the Rapid Response and After-Hours programs, you will provide face-to-face and telephone-based support, including crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, case management and coordinated referrals. You will work with victim survivors presenting with complex needs and play a critical role in promoting safety, stability and recovery.
This role combines outreach-based crisis responses with specialist family violence practice and requires a practitioner who can work independently, exercise sound professional judgement and apply contemporary family violence frameworks, including MARAM, to support women and children experiencing family violence.

The Keeping Families Safe Practitioner provides specialist Adolescent Family Violence In The Home (AVITH) interventions for young people and their families using a family systems, trauma informed and youth development approach.
