Woor-Dungin Yarning Circle

Our next Yarning Circle will be held online on Thursday 30 July, from 12.00 and we are pleased to welcome Tariro Makwasha, Chief Operations Officer of Self-Determination Fund as our Guest Speaker for the session.

At our recent Yarning Circle, there was strong interest in learning more about the Self-Determination Fund and its evolving role in supporting First Nations Community Organisations.
Originally established to support Traditional Owner groups preparing for Treaty negotiations, the Self-Determination Fund is now also moving towards deeper engagement with Aboriginal Community Organisations.

Tariro will join us to share more about the work of the Self-Determination Fund, current developments, and the importance of supporting First Peoples’ rights to economic self-determination.
This will be a valuable conversation for ACCOs, philanthropic partners and allies who are thinking about what it means to support Aboriginal-led priorities with trust, respect and accountability.
