Transforming Masculinity: Preventing Violence Against Women | RMIT

Join RMIT and their panel of experts in an engaging discussion on masculinity and the primary prevention of violence against women.

Panel Speakers include:

  • Shane Tas, Senior Policy Advisor, Masculinities at Our Watch. Shane led and authored the Men in Focus report, launched in 2019 by the Victorian government.
  • Rosi Aryal, Team Leader of Research, Advocacy and Policy at the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health. Rosi has several years’ experience working in health promotion and research with migrant and refugee women.
  • Michael Hail, leads the community engagement and primary prevention work of The Men’s Project at Jesuit Social Services.
  • Dr Victor Sojo is a Senior Lecturer in Leadership at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on workplace equality and leadership development. He works with organisations to develop evidence-based policies and practices. His research has been published in the Leadership Quarterly, British Journal of Sport Medicine, The Lancet, and Harvard Business Review
