Social media self-defence for school leaders | eSafety Commissioner

August 12 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Free

We’re receiving a growing number of reports and enquiries about anonymous social media accounts targeting schools and their staff. Names, staff images, school identifiers and AI-edited content are being used to mock, impersonate or humiliate teachers and other school staff.

School leaders are often at greater risk of being the target of online abuse on social media, due to their professional role and public exposure.

This webinar, designed specifically for school leaders and leadership teams, covers:

  • tech-based abuse experienced by educators and risks associated with emerging technologies
  • practical strategies to increase safety and minimise risk online
  • case studies that demonstrate how to respond to online abuse, including reporting pathways.
