We are offering a free 2-hour workshop for family violence workers and community workers about:
- Options to help your clients recover from financial abuse
- Your clients’ legal rights against banks and businesses about their money problems
- Practical strategies for complaining to banks and businesses
- What free Ombudsman schemes can do for your clients
- How you and your clients can get free and independent financial help and legal advice
The workshop will include discussion of case studies and an interactive Q & A session.
The workshop will bring people together from different agencies for mutual learning – feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues and others in your network.
Please note this workshop is a repeat of the workshops held in 2023 and 2024. It is not suitable for financial counsellors.
