MARAM Collaborative Practice Forums for Bayside Peninsula | Reflective Supervision
October 18 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
One event on October 18, 2022 at 9:30 am
These Collaborative Practice Forums (or Communities of Practice) bring together practitioners that want more understanding on embedding the MARAM Framework and Information Sharing Schemes. With the focus of sharing resources, strategies and knowledge, these forums provide group member involvement and reflection.
The benefits from attending these forums include the opportunity to network with other organisations within a specific service area, engage collaborative practice, negotiate shared understanding, promote exploration of challenges, explore the implementation and alignment of the MARAM/ISS, and share resources and additional information on the forum topic.
Session 4: Reflective Supervision
Reflective supervision provides practitioners an environment to “go beneath the surface” of their work, to consider the emotional impact of their job, and explore unquestioned assumptions and biases inherent in their practice. This Collaborative Practice Forum discusses reflective practice and how practitioner assumptions and biases can impact using MARAM tools. Activities include discussion questions on addressing personal biases and assumptions, and the use of inclusive language and overcoming resistance with clients that impacts your work.
