FreeThis presentation looks at the resisting, refusing and rejecting behavior of a child towards a parent which is commonly referred to as parental alienation. Parental alienation can cause stress, trauma and irreversible psychological damage to children and the whole family.
Participants will gain a greater knowledge and understanding on what parental alienation is including the early warning signs, patterns of alienating behavior and strategies. We will discuss options on how to best manage a case looking at different scenarios including the alienating parent and the rejected parent.
