Baby Makes 3 Lunch & Learn

Join Baby Makes 3 for a special session with Dr Vincent, Victoria’s Gender Equality Commissioner, exploring how the Gender Equality Act 2020 is driving meaningful change through workplace gender audits, gender equality action plans and gender impact assessments (GIAs). This legal requirement is fostering powerful new partnerships as demonstrated in the work through Baby Makes 3. Dr Vincent will highlight how Baby Makes 3 has been supporting Antenatal and Maternal & Child Health Services to embed gender equality in their systems and practice. This will be demonstrated through examples from Barwon Health and Hobsons Bay City Council—challenging outdated parenting stereotypes, strengthening inclusion for LGBTIQA+ families, co‑designing culturally safe
programs with multicultural communities, and adapting resources for cultural relevance. Baby Makes 3 will highlight the tools and resources available and the
opportunities for partnerships.
