Services/Programs
  • Time limited therapeutic interventions and counselling following sexual assault and/or family violence, to victim/survivors and other affected family members

  • 24/7 sexual assault crisis response for people who have been sexually assaulted in the past two weeks, or disclosed past sexual assault for the first time 
  • Assessment and intervention for children and young people with harmful sexual behaviours, and their families
  • Community education and prevention work, including programs in Early Learning Centres, Primary Schools and High schools
  • Professional training

Secondary ConsultsSECASA offers a free secondary consultation service for industry professionals who are looking for input and to discuss a situation or incident they are dealing with that is related to sexual assault and/or family violence that may be related to a patient or one of their clients.

These consults will be conducted by a skilled sexual assault and family violence counsellor/advocate. For a consult within business hours please contact SECASA on: 9928 8741 for an after-hours consult please contact the Sexual Assault Crisis Line: 1800 806 292.

Sexual Assault Services Victoria (SASVic), is Victoria’s peak body for specialist sexual assault and harmful sexual behaviour services.

We work to promote rights, recovery and respect for victim survivors and other people impacted by sexual violence and harm. We seek to achieve this by working collectively to change the attitudes, systems and structures that enable sexual violence to occur.

Secondary Consultations: The specialist sexual assault sector offers secondary consultations to a range of professionals seeking advice, guidance or expertise to ensure the best possible support and care for a victim survivors of sexual violence, as well as their families.
