The Partnership Team

The Partnership is managed by the Principal Strategic Advisor (PSA) who is supported by a Program Administrator and Training Facilitators.

The PSA provides leadership in the development implementation and monitoring of the integrated approach to family violence in the Bayside Peninsula Area.

The PSA works closely with the members and the Chairs to ensure that the BPIFVP provides strategic leadership within the local service system and functions according to the Partnership Agreement.

Together with the Leadership Group the PSA is responsible for fostering a commitment to collaboration and innovation within the BPIFVP and maintaining a focus on objectives as described in the Strategic Plan.

The responsibilities of the PSA include:

  • governance and operational support to BPIFVP
  • Information gathering and knowledge building to support the work of the BPIFVP
  • partnership and collaboration
  • Statewide and area based representation
  • information conduit between the sector, local areas, peak bodies, government and other regional governance structures

Meet the team

Louise Sheehan

PriNCIPAL STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Louise joined the Partnership as the Principal Strategic Advisor in September 2024. Prior to her current role she had worked with the Partnership for over two years on key projects, establishing an engaged and collaborative network with partnership members as well as with individuals and organisations across the Bayside Peninsula and Victoria. Louise is an experienced senior project manager with over two decades of project management success across a broad range of sectors, including tertiary education, government, legal, manufacturing, IT and family violence. Recently, Louise has worked with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, The Salvation Army, Women’s Legal Service Victoria, and Uniting Vic/Tas.

In 2022 Louise completed her Graduate Certificate in Family and Domestic Violence with RMIT and is now studying for a Master of Public Policy with RMIT, focusing on family violence prevention and response. Louise is intent on collaborating for effective change and believes that it is only by working together that we can make a positive and sustainable difference in the community services space.
