The Bayside Peninsula Integrated Family Violence Partnership is running a series of four information sessions in collaboration with Victoria Police that will things such as: The L17 process, liaising with FVTOs, FLVOs FVIU and understanding these roles including constraints & limitations, information sharing process, Police Prosecutors and the court process & more!

Session 1

This online session will explore the role, responsibilities, and perspectives of Victoria Police officers when attending family violence incidents. It will include an overview of the L17 process, how officers liaise with The Orange Door (TOD) and other support agencies following an incident, and information sharing with police .

Intended Outcomes of the Sessions:

• Build stronger working relationships and engagement between Victoria Police and other sectors
• Inform sectors across the Bayside Peninusla Area about the work of Victoria Police as it relates to family violence to create a better understanding & appreciation of the work Police are doing including constraints of roles/responsibilities.
