National CoP for working with young people using violence aggression in the home | The Centre
November 5 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
At the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, we contribute to interstate and federal-level projects to advance understanding of effective program design for adolescent violence in the family home. Our Practice Leaders continue to collaborate with community service organisations to deliver tailored training programs to support learning in this emerging field.
The benefits of establishing a national specialist community of practice are:
- To raise awareness of and network with the many and varied program approaches that are emerging in all states and territories
- To contribute to a nationally recognised understanding and practice framework for young person violence in the home
- To share approaches/strategies/program components that show promising outcomes for work with young people and families
If you are a practitioner involved in working with this cohort of young people and have some level of insight into the complexity of this practice issue, we’d love for you to join our discussion.
