Presenters: Stacy Oehlman (National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse), Kirby Burgess (Lived Experience Advocate) and Dan Moss (Emerging Minds) This webinar will explore how to identify and respond to child sexual abuse in ways that support healing, mental health and wellbeing. This webinar will help you: – identify the signs of child sexual abuse and support children and young people to move beyond secrecy – develop practice strategies to navigate conversations with children and young people about sexual abuse and respond confidently and effectively to disclosures – develop practice strategies that support children, young people and parents to describe their experiences of abuse and support them to move beyond shame and self-blame. This webinar is intended for practitioners and other professionals in health, social, education and community services who have contact with children and young people. This webinar will also include information for people who may need to respond to child sexual abuse outside of their work role. Please note this webinar will be a pre-recorded event with no live Q&A.
