DESCRIPTION:Our next Yarning Circle will be held online on Thursday 30 July\, from 12.00 and we are pleased to welcome Tariro Makwasha\, Chief Operations Officer of Self-Determination Fund as our Guest Speaker for the session. \nAt our recent Yarning Circle\, there was strong interest in learning more about the Self-Determination Fund and its evolving role in supporting First Nations Community Organisations.\nOriginally established to support Traditional Owner groups preparing for Treaty negotiations\, the Self-Determination Fund is now also moving towards deeper engagement with Aboriginal Community Organisations. \nTariro will join us to share more about the work of the Self-Determination Fund\, current developments\, and the importance of supporting First Peoples’ rights to economic self-determination.\nThis will be a valuable conversation for ACCOs\, philanthropic partners and allies who are thinking about what it means to support Aboriginal-led priorities with trust\, respect and accountability. \n  \nRegister here \n
