The new Person Using Violence Practice Guides have been released and this forum incorporates the information from these practice guides; discussions will focus on practitioner engagement when working with adults using family violence\, addressing misidentification\, making referrals\, understanding Mens Behaviour Change programs’ purpose and outcomes\, and identifying abuse nuances persons using violence use. With the focus of sharing resources\, strategies and knowledge\, these forums provide group member involvement and reflection. \nThe benefits from attending these forums include the opportunity to network with other organisations within a specific service area\, engage collaborative practice\, negotiate shared understanding\, promote exploration of challenges\, explore the implementation and alignment of the MARAM/ISS\, and share resources and additional information on the forum topic. \n  \nSession 4:  Reflective Supervision\nReflective supervision provides practitioners an environment to “go beneath the surface” of their work\, to consider the emotional impact of their job\, and explore unquestioned assumptions and biases inherent in their practice. This Collaborative Practice Forum discusses reflective practice and how practitioner assumptions and biases can impact using MARAM tools. The new Person Using Violence Practice Guides have been released and this forum incorporates the information from these practice guides; discussions will focus on practitioner engagement when working with adults using family violence\, addressing misidentification\, making referrals\, understanding Mens Behaviour Change programs’ purpose and outcomes\, and identifying abuse nuances persons using violence use. We look at the application of the consent rules\, working with the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme and the Child Information Sharing Scheme across different service providers (e.g. family services\, education\, Mens Behaviour Change Program) and how to address challenges with consent and information sharing.
