Please review the description carefully before registering. This session requires prior approval and is limited to one staff member per organisation. Please review the description carefully before registering. \nThis interactive teach in session explores how intersectionality shapes the experiences of clients\, particularly within migrant and refugee communities. By examining how factors such as ethnicity\, gender\, faith\, and religion influence client needs\, you’ll gain strategies for offering more culturally nuanced and safe engagement. \nA key focus will be understanding how Islamophobia can impact service delivery and how practitioners can better support clients from Islamic faith backgrounds. Practitioners will have the chance to ask practice-related questions to our Case Manager\, Safiyyah for tailored\, vocationally relevant guidance. P  lease attend the session with some prepared questions and/or deidentified case-based questions. \nLearning Outcomes: \n\nLearn how to adopt a client-centred approach by respecting and working with a client’s belief systems in a faith context.\nEnhance your ability to offer culturally tailored responses that respect the complexities of each client circumstance.\n\nPlease note: To ensure an interactive and engaging one-hour with our practitioner\, each session is limited to 20 participants. To give everyone a fair chance\, we ask that only one practitioner per organisation signs up. Please only register if you can fully commit to attending and actively participating\, with your camera on/ready to interact with our speaker. \nWhen registering\, kindly use your work email address as inTouch will only approve registrations from official accounts. We’re excited to have you be part of this practical learning experience! \nRegistration essential Please add yourself to the waitlist for each session if you miss out! \n
