DESCRIPTION:We’re proud to welcome two exceptional guest speakers\, Tammy Casselson and Anastasia Sagris-Desmond\, co-authors of “The Grimmest of FairyTales\,” who will lead an insightful and thought-provoking talk about an issue that touches every community\, family\, domestic and sexual violence. Books will be for sale on the day. \nWhile the topic is serious\, this event is designed to inspire\, educate and empower\, not to retraumatise. Through Tammy’s powerful lived experience and both speakers’ deep professional expertise\, we will explore practical ways to recognise red flags\, support victim-survivors\, and become effective allies and upstanders. \nTogether\, we’ll: \n\nDebunk common myths about perpetrators and their tactics\,\nShine a light on the financial systems that enable abuse\, and\nShare tools to build financial literacy and community awareness to help prevent future harm.\n\nThis is a conversation for everyone\, whether you’re a professional\, a friend\, a neighbour\, or simply someone who wants to help create safer communities. Above all\, this session is about hope\, connection\, and taking action\, because with the right knowledge and support\, we can all make a difference. \nRegister here
