DESCRIPTION:Communities of Practice bring together practitioners from all over the Bayside Peninsula. \nWith the focus of sharing resources\, strategies and knowledge\, these forums provide the opportunity to: \n\nNetwork with other organisations\nEngage collaborative practice\nNegotiate shared understanding\nPromote exploration of challenges\nExplore the implementation and alignment of the MARAM/ISS\nShare resources and additional information on the forum topic\n\nOur Communities of Practice cover a range of MARAM topics and are key to broadening workers knowledge and networks. \nIn recognition of Victoria’s diverse population\, this 90-minute workshop will provide an opportunity for you to explore ways to enhance your family violence practice working with CALD and Faith diverse individuals and families. DESCRIPTION:Supporting MBCP facilitators to challenge men’s narratives for meaningful change. \nMen referred to programs are used to sharing their ‘narrative’ but less used to having that narrative challenged in a way that shifts the lens of responsibility to them empathetically and without shame. \nIn this seminar\, Tony will share the psychotherapeutic technique of meeting these men ‘where they are at’ to support MBCP facilitators to challenge men’s narratives. \nThrough utilising empathic\, humanistic engagement techniques\, participants will learn how to create opportunities for these men to understand their choice points\, trigger points\, and the impacts that their behaviours have on women and children. \nClick here for more information and to register
