SUMMARY:No To Violence: Case management interventions with men using family violence
DESCRIPTION:3-hour interactive online training session \nCase management with men using family violence is an increasingly critical intervention across child protection responses\, correctional services\, men’s\nbehaviour change programs and court diversion programs. Case management can be provided either face to face\, online or by telephone and requires skill\nand responses that pay attention to victim-survivor safety and wellbeing. \nThis training provides case managers with a definition of case management in the context of working with men using family violence that treats the\nsafety and wellbeing of impacted family members as a critical aspect of practice; an understanding of case management client presentations and referral\npathways; ability to engage with men using a goal-oriented approach; and confidence to use the case planning and case monitoring tools required in case-\nmanagement practice. \nVictorian residents are eligible for a funding subsidy for these courses; contact\ntraining@ntv.org.au for more information \nClick to register
