Consumer Action Law Centre is here to help! \nWe are offering a free 2.5 hour workshop for family violence workers and community workers about: \n\nOptions to help your clients recover from financial abuse\nYour clients’ legal rights against banks and businesses about their money problems\nPractical strategies for complaining to banks and businesses\nWhat free Ombudsman schemes can do for your clients\nHow you and your clients can get free and independent financial help and legal advice \n\nThe workshop will include discussion of case studies and an interactive Q & A session. \nThe workshop will bring people together from different agencies for mutual learning – feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues. \n  \nPlease note this workshop is a repeat of the workshops held in 2020\, 2021 and earlier in 2022\, and is not suitable for experienced financial counsellors. \nWhen: 10am-12:30pm\, 23rd November 2022 via Zoom webinar
