SUMMARY:Radical Influencers: How to set our young men up for success
DESCRIPTION:The divisive\, opportunistic\, self-interested and misogynistic bile that spills out of online personalities like Andrew Tate highlights what folks seeking to positively influence men and boys are up against. Join us next Wednesday night for a free webinar to explore how we can respond – guiding young men towards loving and compassionate lives where they feel like they belong with a deep connection and understanding of themselves as well as folks in their lives. \nYou’ll hear from Hunter Johnson from the Man Cave\, Dr. Zac Seidler from Movember\, Nicolas Parkhill from ACON and Allan Ball MBSW from White Ribbon. Drawing on Jesuit Social Services Social Services Man Box work\, I’ll share a bunch about what we’re learning based on our work engaging men and boys in violence prevention efforts. \nRegister here

SUMMARY:Crash Course in Consent | Let's Talk About X
DESCRIPTION:Are you a teacher wanting Professional Development to help you get up to date on consent as mandatory consent education is rolled out in Victoria next term? Are you a parent looking to better support your teenagers to understand consent? \nWhy isn’t “no means no” enough? Isn’t it awkward to ask for consent? Do I have to check for consent every time? \nAs sexuality educators\, we get loads of questions like these\, especially as the landscape of consent is rapidly changing. \nJoin us for a crash course in consent\, where we will equip you to guide the young people in your life towards respectful and consensual interactions.

SUMMARY:Family law parenting orders\, breaches and their impact on children | ANROWS
DESCRIPTION:What drives non-compliance with family law parenting orders? This webinar launches the second and final report within Compliance with and enforcement of family law parenting orders. Conducted with the Australian Institute of Family Studies\, this research examines how the parenting order enforcement regime is working in Australia. It does so by pulling together a range of perspectives\, from the views of parents and carers\, and legal professionals as well as judicial insights from court files. This research demonstrates that when parenting orders fail to take children’s views into account\, or family violence makes them unsafe to comply with\, these factors can be drivers of non-compliance.
