DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Safe and Equal\, Dr Naomi Pfitzner\, Dr Jasmine McGowan and Kate Fitz-Gibbon are thrilled to be launching their research on the intersection between experiences of long COVID and intimate partner violence. \nDespite well-established evidence of the increased risk of intimate partner violence during the first two years of the pandemic\, to date there has been no research globally that examines how victim-survivors’ experiences of long COVID will uniquely impact their safety and support needs. This research\, which has been conducted in partnership with Safe and Equal\, seeks to address this critical gap in current knowledge. \nThe event will open at 9am with informal networking and morning tea from 9am to 9:30am.
