SUMMARY:Collaborative Practice | DFFH MARAM and Information Sharing Week
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Families\, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) is holding a MARAM and Information Sharing Week from 26 to 29 April.  The purpose of the week is to promote understanding of family violence and information sharing and align and embed the MARAM Framework and Information Sharing Schemes in practice.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis will be a virtual event and is open to sector organisations and associated peak bodies and their members\, and other government departments.   The program for the week is designed to meet the needs of those working in family violence and related sectors and incorporates a two-hour online session each day. \nThe sessions will provide the latest insights into contemporary family violence practice\, highlighting: \n\ncollaboration and information sharing\nexperiences of children and young people\nworking through an intersectional lens\, and\nimproved understanding of coercive control.\n\nAs the lead division for the whole of Victorian Government family violence reform\, Family Safety Victoria staff will provide context for the broader reform agenda in each session to support greater understanding of family violence and child wellbeing.  The centrality of lived experience is a key feature of the Week’s events. Representatives from the Victim Survivor Advisory Council (VSAC) will be joining the panel discussions.
