DESCRIPTION:The Family Reconciliation Mediation Program (FRMP)\, in partnership with Drummond Street Services and the Centre for Family Research & Evaluation (CFRE) is offering specialist training to build staff capacity in supporting LGBTIQA+ young people and their families. Beginning with a 101 e-learning module on inclusive language\, pronouns\, unconscious bias\, and safe environments\, the program prepares participants for a 2-hour in-person or online workshop delivered by trainers with professional and lived experience. \nThe training equips staff to support LGBTIQA+ youth\, navigate disclosure and confidentiality\, and engage families\, while also providing strategies\, referral pathways\, and resources. Grounded in Queerspace’s evidence-based and intersectional practice model\, it centres lived experience and LGBTIQA+ voices\, helping staff improve outcomes for young people and foster more inclusive and supportive environments across the sector. \nRegister here
