DESCRIPTION:Djirra\, Elizabeth Morgan House and Safe and Equal are partnering to support a culturally responsive and accountable family violence sector. As part of this work\, we are now inviting non-Aboriginal family violence services to sign up to the sector Commitment to Action and join the Action Learning Pilot. DESCRIPTION:This year for Homelessness Week\, 4-10 August 2025\, the Victorian Homelessness Network Houses At Parliament Campaign is going local. Each of the regional Homelessness Networks will be holding an event in their region\, seeking involvement from their local communities and local politicians.\nIn the lead up to Homelessness Week\, our members and allied community groups across Victoria are folding 60\,000 origami houses\, to draw attention to the need for at least 60\,000 new social homes in Victoria\, and implementation of the national plan to end homelessness. You and your staff can get on board by folding origami houses\, holding displays in your service and local community and talking about homelessness and the need for more housing and a national plan to end homelessness. All the Homelessness Week resources are available at Houses At Parliament Campaign\nWe are inviting you to join us at the SHSN Homelessness Week morning tea at 11am on 5 August at the Victorian Pride Centre\, 81 Fitzroy St\, St Kilda. We have also invited local politicians to come along and talk to us about homelessness and the challenges our sector is facing.\nThe display will run all week at the Pride Centre\, with a staffed stall every day 4-8 August\, 12-2pm. You and your staff are welcome to visit the exhibition during these times.\nThis Homelessness Week we invite you to join the call for more public and community housing and the implementation of the national plan with a commitment to end homelessness. \n  \nWe look forward to seeing you there. Some of these tools are being used to create harmful content\, including image-based abuse\, involving young people both as targets and as creators. \nThis webinar for educators and youth-serving professionals will cover: \n\nhow young people are experiencing AI-assisted image-based abuse – the tools\, the behaviours\, the impacts\nthe technological\, social and cultural contexts that are driving the use of deepfakes\nsupport strategies for professionals working with young people to both prevent and respond to AI-assisted image-based abuse.\n\nRegister here
