DESCRIPTION:An exciting learning opportunity to attend a Community of Practice run by Better Health Network. Hear from a lived experience person about their relationship with gambling harm and family violence. \nGambling Harm affects most individuals and families and the impacts on their lives have been significant: Relationship breakdown\, Mental Health\, Depression\, Loss of job\, Losing a house\, and more. At the worse stage\, ending up in the court system or suicide. \nGamblers Help Southern provides the community with supports for people experiencing gambling harm or affected others through Therapeutic and Financial Counselling\, Peer Support\, Community Education and Schools programs. \nIn this session you will hear about: \n\nThe landscape of gaming and gambling in Australia\, signs and symptoms to look out for\, impact and supports\nLived Experience Person sharing the journey of gambling harm as an affected other who experienced family violence\nTherapeutic Counsellor exploring therapeutic approaches\n\nThere will be a Q&A at the end of the session to ask any questions! \nTo register\, email areeya.holmes@vt.uniting.org and include: \n\nName\nJob Title\nOrganisation
