SUMMARY:Gender and Sexuality at Work: A multidisciplinary Research & Engagement Conference
DESCRIPTION:This conference has been designed to bring together talent from academia and the broader public and private sectors (both for-profit and not-for-profit) to participate in respectful\, professional\, and rigorous debate about gender and sexuality at work. \nWe aim to learn from each other\, to find better ways to work together in building the knowledge base required to address gender and sexuality at work in healthy and productive ways. \nThe exciting day-long program features two keynotes by Professor Rae Cooper (she/her) from The University of Sydney and Assistant Professor Thekla Morgenroth (they/them) from Purdue University\, 12 research presentations\, 12 industry-led workshops\, and a plenary session to discuss gaps in research and engagement and pathways forward. \nGiven the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19 transmission in Australia\, we have decided to host the conference entirely online. Although this was a difficult decision\, we believe it’s the best way to ensure the safety of all our presenters\, partners\, sponsors\, delegates and staff\, and to play our part in protecting the healthcare system. \nTo learn more about the conference\, visit our website.
