Safe Steps received a research grant from Family Safety Victoria to conduct an independent study on best practice emergency response to family violence.  The study aims to better understand the existing practice framework dealing with family violence emergencies and to identify areas for improvement in Victoria.

They are particularly interested to hear from victim survivors with a disability, and those from multicultural, LGBTIQA+, and Aboriginal backgrounds to identify barriers and enablers accessing crisis support.

If you are interested in getting involved in this project and are available for a 1-1.5 hour individual or focus group discussion in May and June, please kindly fill out the online expression of interest here

The lead researcher will then contact you directly about your participation.
